Tristan is the son of a Seraphim (father) and a human (mother). Mikilus fell in love with Marianne - it was said she could see the future. When she became with child, it was evident that their relationship was more than passing. Mikilus thus devoted his life, time and energy in raising their son.

Tristan didn't develop his Nephalim abilities until puberty. Until the age of 12, he appeared to take after his mother, with some aptitude for divination. In his 12th year, though, he awoke in a dead sweat, shouting and possessed wings. Life became more complicated then; he had to learn how to control his budding angelic form.

When he transforms into an Angel, he takes on a slight golden glow and becomes a bit paler. His hair turns almost golden-white. White wings sprout from his back and tears off any shirt he happens to be wearing.

His mom owns a shop downtown, "The Downtown Diviners". His dad is the Assistant District Attorney for the Murias Attorney General's office.
